I began RCMS Studio to focus on interior design for historic renovations - spaces where architectural history and contemporary living meet. Over the past decade, I have worked across commercial interiors, developing design strategies for hospitality and retail that balance concept, materiality and spatial storytelling.
Bringing that approach to residential projects, I focus on characterful properties in both Amsterdam and London, helping interiors evolve from their architectural roots rather than replace them.
Each project begins with close study of the building - its proportions, materials and original context - and the lives & rituals of those who inhabit it. Design decisions are guided by three principles:
Craft : material integrity, skilled making, considered detailing.
History : respect for the architectural language of the space.
Storytelling : creating interiors that weave together the narrative of the building, its context, and the lives unfolding within it.
The result is layered, textural interiors that are unique, deeply personal, and rooted in the stories of both building and those who live there.

A focused 90-minute session, held online or in person, to address specific questions or challenges in your project.
This is a practical, entry-level way to engage with RCMS Studio : ideal if you’re at the beginning of a renovation and unsure where to start, or already in progress and need clarity on a particular decision, direction, or process.
You’ll leave with clear guidance, direction, and a written follow-up summary.

The concept stage of your project, where we define the creative foundation for your space.
This phase explores the relationship between the space and the people who live in it, translating this into a cohesive design direction that feels both intentional and personal.
Typically this includes:
Spatial layout and floorplan development
Mood direction and concept narrative
Material, colour and texture palette
Key design references and visual direction
This stage provides a clear and grounded framework for moving your project forward with confidence, whether you continue independently or develop it further with RCMS Studio.

From €3,500 (depending on scope)
A complete, end-to-end design service from initial concept through to installation.
This is a fully managed process for clients who want RCMS Studio involved at every stage - from spatial planning and design development through to FF&E selection, supplier coordination, contractor collaboration and final styling.
This service is tailored to the scale of the project and can range from a single-room renovation to a full apartment or house refurbishment.
